Atlanta Swim School was founded by Sabir Muhammad, 10 time American Swimming Record Holder, NCAA Champion at Stanford University and former member of the USA National Swim Team. During his time as a competitive swimmer, Muhammad set 10 American Records and was a multiple US Open and National Champion.
CEO, Trish P. Miller, learned to swim as an adult after her own near drowning experience as a teenager. That experience inspired her to be an advocate for community-based drowning prevention programs.
Sabir and Trish both believe that swimming is not just a sport, but a vital life-saving skill. The Atlanta Swim School offers lessons for students of all ages, from infancy to adulthood, and believes that anyone, at any age can benefit from swimming.
